authjs.session-token (essential): keeps you signed in. Set when you log in and required for the app to work. First-party, expires when your session ends or you sign out. NEXT_LOCALE (functional): remembers your preferred language. First-party, persists until changed. cookie_consent (functional): remembers that you've seen this cookie notice, so it doesn't show again. First-party, persists until changed.
3. Why we don't ask for consent for these
Every cookie above is strictly necessary or functional to provide the service you've requested - none of them track you across other sites or are used for advertising or analytics, so under ePrivacy rules they don't require an opt-in consent banner. We still show a short notice when you first visit so you know they're there.
4. Future changes
If e-Xpens ever adds analytics or advertising in the future, this policy - and the cookie notice - will be updated to include a proper opt-in/opt-out choice for those cookies before they're set.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking the session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in.
