1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using e-Xpens, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2. The service
e-Xpens is a personal expense-tracking tool that lets you record and organize your own financial data (accounts, transactions, categories and recurring transactions). It is provided by an individual developer, not a company, and is offered on an as-is basis.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service - for example, by attempting to gain unauthorized access, disrupting the service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
5. Intellectual property
The e-Xpens application, its design and its code are the property of the developer. Your financial data belongs to you - we don't claim any ownership over the data you enter.
6. No warranty and limitation of liability
e-Xpens is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, including loss of data. e-Xpens is not a substitute for professional financial or accounting advice.
7. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction - to be confirmed]. This section should be reviewed and completed before relying on these terms commercially.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of e-Xpens after a change means you accept the updated terms.
